The Mason County Garden Club is a great program to get involved in to gain gardening experience, volunteer, make some new friends, and just have a good time. To learn more about membership benefits as well as membership responsibilities and community activities visit masoncountygardenclub.org. The Mission of the Mason County Garden Club is to stimulate a knowledge and love of gardening, landscape design and floral design, encourage home and community beautification, promote good horticultural practices, provide education and resources, encourage protection of our environment and conservation of our natural resources, and to promote the programs of the Michigan Garden Clubs, Inc. and the National Garden Clubs, Inc.

A Brief History
The Mason County Garden Club was founded in 1926 by a group of women interested in beautifying the city and county with gardening. Since then, the Club has supported many youth activities including Junior Garden Clubs and 4-H activities. Club members today are involved in a variety of community-related landscape, beautification and conservation efforts. The Club also helps support the annual installation of floral hanging baskets in Ludington and Scottville, and the Petunia Parade planting in Ludington.
